Adrien
Gardère began his itinerant career in 2000. His work in three disciplines – furniture
design, stage design, and interior architecture – takes him to Milan,
London, Paris, Cairo… sometimes to India or Indonesia. He makes an
intelligent accommodation between traditional know-how and contemporary needs;
his creations are characterized by the desire to escape from stereotypes
of innovation that compromises comfort and the quality of life. His objective
is clear:
'Create products whose relevance and legitimacy gives them
a longevity far greater than you find in the incessant to-and-fro of the consumer
