



Born in 1971, Guillaume Bardet lives in Paris with his wife the author Lorraine Nobecourt. He was educated at L’ Ecole des Arts Decoratifs, Paris, and is laureate of the prestigious Villa Medici, Roma, where he was invited for a one year residency in 2003. He teaches at the famous Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle de Paris.
He worked at the Jean Marie Massaud Architectural practice in Paris between 1999 and 2002 where he contributed to various public architectural and design projects. He has also designed furniture and objects under his own name for the following design companies: Ligne Roset, Liv'it, De Vecchi, Triode, Aquamass, and collaborated with various companies such as Louis Vuitton or Vivendi Environnement. He is a regular guest at the design fair Now and at the French government and industry sponsored group Valorisation of Innovation in Furnishing (VIA) projects.
Right now he is working on an ambitious urban furniture project in Besancon, France, that is seen as a benchmark for mid-sized cities redeveloping their central squares as their social heart and hub.
